Black Belt Attitude: Stand up for what you believe

“To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe.” Anatole France

Each week we discuss a Black Belt Attitude topic with the kids in our Warrior Talk. This week the topic is about standing up for what you believe. Don’t keep it all to yourself, pass it on. We see incredible changes in people that are touched by small acts of unconditional kindness and service …

How often have you had the courage of your convictions to truly stand up for what or who you believe in? How many times have you followed your dreams? Dreams can only become reality when you sail far beyond the comfort of what you hold to be safe. It takes true courage to chase your dreams, especially when those around you don’t believe it’s possible. Everyone has a dream, and everyone deserves to have their dream come true. Believe in yourself. Believe in your dreams.

But what will you do when your time comes? Will you have the courage to take your shot? Take just 5 minutes out of your day and watch this video to see how one young man lived his dream when the time came. We can all learn something from his champion example.
